During this period Better Family Foundation (BFF) Management focused its attention on the "Go back to school campaign". This is because from November 2016, the teachers' trade union in this side of the country went on strike and classes were suspended.
Even when the the strike was suspended last April, parents refused that their childern will not return to school. Under this state of affairs, Better Family Foundation began a campaign in order to motivate the children under our sponsorship program to return to school. In this respect, BFF staff have been contacting parents and children at their homes and educating them on the important of education. So far many of the children returned to school though their classes remained very timid.
BFF continues to appreciate all the stakeholders who contributed in anyway to ensure the sustainability of this project.
