Better Family Foundation in an effort to assess the impact of the project on the lives of the benefaciary children and their families, organized an evaluation meeting bringing together all the children and their parents or guardians involved in the project.
During the meeting all the children's report cards were critically examined one by one. The children were asked to explain their strengths and weaknesses. Parents or guardians were equally asked to explain how the project has affected the lives of their children as well as that of their entire families.
Better Family Foundation staff sought to know the role of the parents/guardians in making the children to study effectively. Each of the parents/guardian stated the role he or she played in the education of his or her child. They equally pointed out some of weaknesses of the project and made possible recommendations for improvement.
The following outcomes were realised at the end of the meeting:
Only one pupil failed during the second term examination and the rest had excellent results.
Parents/guardians were happy that the project has improved on their economic status.
Parent also pleaded on BFF authorities to organize such evaluation meetings frequently.
They thanked all the donors towards this project through BFF.
