The child sponsor project has been very much alive within the BFF program. Since the last report many meetings have been held to plan for the forthcoming academic year 2013/2014 school year. These meetings were planned to develop the modalities for the selection of the pupils/students during the next school year. The results of the pupils/students sponsored last year were analyzed. Also two meetings with parents and sponsored children were held to evaluate the successes and difficulties encountered during the last school year. These meetings resulted in the way forward in order to improve on the project activities during the next academic year. Also we have been very busy on the field searching for funds for the project. As of now we tentatively intend to sponsor 22 primary school pupils by paying their tuition and buying their basic textbooks while in the secondary school we intend to pay the tuition fees of 17 students. Each student will be paid 25000francs ($50). However, BFF intends to increase the number of pupils and students to be sponsored before the beginning of the year depending on the how much funds come in. We intend to organize one or two meetings to finalize everything before school begins. It is worth mentioning that a greater amount of this funds has come from Shared World Vision - a USA based Non-Governmental organization. We apologize for having this report late to everybody-- we were experiencing terrible internet and light issues in Fundong.
