During the last period Better Family Foundation (BFF) Management held a meeting with its staff during the month of August to evaluate the child support program and select the children to be sponsored during the next academic year.
Considering that last academic year was marked by socio-political crisis in English speaking Cameroon as well as COVID-19 crisis the selection of would be sponsored children for 2020/2021 academic year was done with uncertainty. Instead of targeting to support 85 children, Better Family Foundation pre-selected 65 students pending funding for the program. A total of 35 students were pre-selected from secondary schools and 30 from high schools.
The Management of BFF remains thankful to GlobalGiving and all those who have been supporting this program and continues to appeal for more support to assist these under privileged children at such challenging moment in Cameroon.
