The English speaking zone of Cameroon is currently going through serious socio-political situation. This has rendered the education of children in schools very difficult. This is because both teachers and students fear to attend classes. This situation has had a very negative impact on our program. In the midst of this situation Better Family Foundation (BFF) has restrategized it's approach towards the program.
All our sponsored Children have been encouraged to move to safer zones of the country where they are hosted by their family relatives and are attending schools. BFF is identifying their various locations and intends to send their tuitions and other school needs to those locations where they are based. However some of the children have not been relocated believing that after the presidential election the situation could be better and they resume school in their home villages.
In order to get this done BFF staff have engaged in home visits for data collection especially when there is relaxed tension. BFF continues to thank all those who are supporting this project.
