With donations, this project supports the initiative to protect the forest owned by several families with farms located in wetland areas in the Parismina and Reventazón river basins, of the cantons of Pococí and Guácimo, Limón, Costa Rica.
With the donations received we support labeling work, lane cleaning, repair of minor infrastructure and purchase of tools for farm work, with this project, we try to strengthen the roots of people to the land and the forest resources they have, also the protection of forests requires economic efforts and time, so it cannot be taken for granted that the people around the forests are going to protect them, so the owners must have a presence in the sites so that there is respect for forested spaces.
