Nearly 1 million people were displaced during the 2025-2026 conflict along the Cambodia-Thailand border. When the fighting ended, many returned to their villages to find their homes destroyed or severely damaged, clean water & health services gone, and schools shuttered. Today, over 35,000 people still remain homeless or living in makeshift shelters. This initiative will work with community-led organizations on both sides of the border to help those impacted regain their safety and stability.
Displaced Thai & Khmer families face a harsh reality: emergency aid has ended, but their communities remain in ruins. With homes lost; hunger rising; and limited access to clean water, employment, & healthcare, many are struggling to recover from deep mental, physical, and financial strain. Children are especially vulnerable. Many have no schools to return to and carry lasting trauma from the violence. Help us restore what's been lost and support families as they rebuild their lives.
We will implement a cross-border effort grounded in our holistic, triad approach: housing, clean water, & mobility. We will build climate-resilient homes designed to withstand floods and pests; install solar-powered water systems & hygiene hubs to provide reliable access to clean water; and supply bicycles to help families reach schools, healthcare, & markets. Together, these interventions create a coordinated path to recovery, supporting 30 families as they move from displacement to permanence.
We partner with local leaders, vendors, & artisans to bring this holistic approach to life. With our overhead already covered, 100% of your donation goes directly to the field, delivering both immediate relief & lasting, generational impact through safe housing, improved health, and reliable mobility. Supporting 30 families is just the beginning. Your gift helps scale a model that can serve communities across the region, anchoring additional displaced families for decades to come.
