We want to fund the scholarship of 3 unemployed hairdressers to offer them a training to become a social hairdresser and be able to work in hospitals or retirement homes where a lot of help is needed. This way we're in fact helping more people in addition to these 3 women who will find a job and be useful to the community. These women can also be youth people too who just have finished their training as hairdresser and do not find a job and would like to become social hairdressers to find a job
We created a training to become social hairdresser and train real professional who understand how to treat disable, old or sick people in hospitals or retirement home where help is needed. Also some hairdressers can't find a job. The idea is therefore to offer a grant to help the 3 persons who can't find a job but also the people in the hospital or retirement homes. It's a 4 month training we'd be happy to give them with internships in hospitals and classes are given by doctors and social wokers
By providing specific training so they can find a job to these 3 women and by training real professionals of social hairdressing to take care of sick and disable people. We ask for 3 grants but every additional 5,000 USD could help more women by training additional unemployed people
This way we will have real professional being able to take care of people in need. It will be a real help for them to provide real professionals who can ensure their well being safely, knowing who to speak to them, who to style their hair with no harm and be there for them. We started the training this January and the hospitals we've worked with are asking for more interns as they have seen the real positive impact of their presence and help with their patients.
