Challenge

The fire in Budhakhani, Mahabharat Rural Municipality, has left three households homeless and deprived of their means of sustenance. The families of Santa Bahadur Rana, Sanak Bahadur Tumsing, and Suresh Rana, comprising a total of 29 individuals, have lost their homes, crops, livestock, and essential belongings. The immediate aftermath of the fire has left them vulnerable and in urgent need of support.

Solution

This project will provide immediate relief and support to the fire-affected families and the assistance will include the provision of temporary shelter, basic household items, food supplies, clothing, and essential amenities to help the families cope with the immediate aftermath of the disaster. Additionally, efforts will be made to initiate the rebuilding process by assisting in the reconstruction of homes and livelihood restoration activities.

Long-Term Impact

The project's long-term impact will extend beyond the immediate relief efforts. By supporting the fire-affected families, this project will contribute to their recovery and resilience-building process. It will enable them to rebuild their homes, restore their livelihoods, and regain self-sufficiency. Ultimately, the project aims to empower the affected families to overcome the adversity they have faced and rebuild their lives with dignity.
