This project will provide essential support to 3 families affected by a devastating fire in a rural village of Nepal. The forest fire, which spread to the settlement, has left three family houses completely burned to the ground, resulting in significant loss of property and livestock. Immediate assistance is crucial to help these families rebuild their lives and restore their basic necessities.
The fire in Budhakhani, Mahabharat Rural Municipality, has left three households homeless and deprived of their means of sustenance. The families of Santa Bahadur Rana, Sanak Bahadur Tumsing, and Suresh Rana, comprising a total of 29 individuals, have lost their homes, crops, livestock, and essential belongings. The immediate aftermath of the fire has left them vulnerable and in urgent need of support.
This project will provide immediate relief and support to the fire-affected families and the assistance will include the provision of temporary shelter, basic household items, food supplies, clothing, and essential amenities to help the families cope with the immediate aftermath of the disaster. Additionally, efforts will be made to initiate the rebuilding process by assisting in the reconstruction of homes and livelihood restoration activities.
The project's long-term impact will extend beyond the immediate relief efforts. By supporting the fire-affected families, this project will contribute to their recovery and resilience-building process.
