Project Report | Jun 11, 2026
Commitment Continues Despite Funding Challenges

By Abihudi Kinyamgala | Project Leader

Dear Donors and Supporters,

We sincerely thank you for your continued interest in our project, Help 200 Youth in Sustainable Agriculture in Tanzania. Your encouragement and belief in our mission remain a source of motivation as we continue working toward creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for young people in Tanzania.

Since our previous report, we regret to inform you that we have not received any new donations to support the implementation of planned project activities. As a result, the project has not been able to advance to the next phase of training, farm establishment, and youth support activities that were originally planned.

Current Project Status

The lack of financial resources has made it impossible to conduct new field activities during this reporting period. Planned interventions such as youth agricultural training, demonstration farm establishment, procurement of farming inputs, and irrigation system installation remain on hold until sufficient funding becomes available.

Despite these challenges, our commitment to the project remains strong. We continue to maintain communication with youth groups, local leaders, and community stakeholders who have expressed interest in participating in the initiative once implementation resumes.

Ongoing Efforts

Although no new project activities have been implemented, our team has continued to:

  • Maintain engagement with youth groups interested in sustainable agriculture.
  • Explore potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Review and update project implementation plans and training materials.
  • Encourage community members to remain prepared for future participation.
  • Advocate for agriculture as a pathway to youth employment and economic empowerment.

Challenges Faced

The primary challenge remains the absence of financial support. This has affected our ability to:

  • Conduct agricultural training programs.
  • Purchase seeds, fertilizers, farming tools, and irrigation equipment.
  • Establish demonstration farms and training centers.
  • Support youth groups with startup agricultural resources.
  • Expand project outreach to additional communities.

Without funding, it is difficult to translate the strong community interest into practical activities that can generate impact.

Looking Ahead

Our vision remains unchanged. Once funding is secured, we plan to:

  • Establish demonstration farms for practical learning.
  • Train youth in sustainable and climate-smart agriculture.
  • Provide agricultural inputs and startup support.
  • Introduce irrigation technologies for year-round production.
  • Strengthen market access and agribusiness opportunities for participating youth.

How You Can Help

We kindly appeal to our supporters to continue standing with us during this challenging period.

You can help by:

  • Making a one-time or recurring donation.
  • Sharing our project with friends, colleagues, and networks.
  • Connecting us with organizations and individuals interested in supporting youth employment and sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to empowering 200 young people with the skills and opportunities needed to build sustainable livelihoods.

Thank You

Although progress has temporarily slowed due to funding constraints, our determination remains strong. We remain hopeful that with your support, we will soon be able to resume implementation and create meaningful change in the lives of young people and their families.

Thank you for your continued trust, encouragement, and partnership.
