Our organization needs your help to support more than 200 of the most disadvantaged school children in southern Vietnam. Join us in giving them opportunities to keep up with their new 2010 school year
When the new school year arrives, many Vietnamese disadvantaged children and their families face difficulties in affording school fees and/or other related costs. This sort of poverty is a major factor in non attendance or poor attendance at school, often causing students to drop out early. This lack of education perpetuates the cycle of poverty into which these children were born.
Our goal is to ensure that all children excluded from school or whose education is jeopardized by poverty can attend school untroubled by financial concerns or by worries about the cost of education to their families.
By providing scholarships and school supplies, we reduce the cost of education to families with many children, thus enabling parents to send all their children to school. A scholarship does not pay for all the educational costs of a child.
