Help 160 Afghan Widows Become Self-Supportive

On February 8, 2021, we graduated 160 widowed mothers, orphaned girls, and women in chronic poverty in Afghanistan with your generous support. Without your support, we could not have done this. We sincerely thank you for your trust and support.  Your donation gave BUSINESS TOOLS to 160 devastated Afghan women who were in extreme poverty.  We call these business tools "Tailor's Business Startup Kits." (TBSK)  Every TBSK includes a brand new sewing machine and 9 other essential tools for women tailors to start a home tailoring business.  Six long months of hard work gave them the education to read and write their language and the sewing skills to start a business to bring residual income home.  This will enable them to feed their families and send their children to schools.  This is the amazing work we do for the impoverished women in the war-torn country of Afghanistan.  You helped us do this.  You are the part of HOPE we brought to these women. You enabled us to bring that HOPE to the women in Afghanistan.  Thank you.

We will continue to work hard to bring HOPE to many more widowed mothers, orphaned girls, and women in chronic poverty. There are 2 million widows and orphans in Afghanistan. Over forty years of war and internal conflicts, so much violence and pain to 38 million people in Afghanistan.  The violence continues today.  Women and children are the most vulnerable populations opened to this terrible violence.
