The war is disrupting Ukrainian teenagers' education and may limit their future opportunities. This three-month project will help 15 war-affected high school students in Ukraine close learning gaps and prepare for university admission. Participants will receive knowledge assessments, structured lessons for Ukraine's National Multi-Subject Test, practice tests, admissions guidance, and study-skills support-helping them move toward university, a future career, and a role in Ukraine's recovery.
War has disrupted Ukrainian teenagers' education through air raid alerts, displacement, power outages, stress, and remote or hybrid learning. These disruptions have widened learning gaps just as students must prepare for university admission. Families affected by the war cannot always afford tutoring or test preparation, leaving teenagers at risk of losing opportunities due to circumstances beyond their control. The project will give 15 students in Ukraine free university preparation support.
This three-month program will help 15 Ukrainian teenagers identify and address learning gaps and prepare for the National Multi-Subject Test. Each participant will receive an initial assessment, a personalized learning plan, structured lessons in key subjects, practice tests, admissions and career guidance, and practical study and stress-management tools. A final assessment will measure progress against each student's starting point.
The project will help 15 teenagers strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and readiness for university admission. Beyond one exam, participants will gain study, time-management, and stress-management skills they can use throughout higher education and working life. Better access to university and future careers can support their economic independence and allow them to strengthen their communities and contribute to Ukraine's recovery.
