In mid-November, we launched our new cohort of programming courses. 57 people went through our rigorous selection process, which consists of an online application form, a test in English and logical thinking, an individual task and an interview. A total of 34 people started training in two tracks - Web programming with PHP and Java & Android technologies. 14 of them are students and 20 are adults. Thanks to you, 7 of the most ambitious candidates received a full scholarship for the entire course.
Unfortunately, the global Covid-19 pandemic did not pass us by. We value the health and safety of our students as a top priority. That's why during last year's course, we managed to organize our online classes entirely. Our students have continuous real-time access to lectures and all available resources - presentations, demos and etc. We also purchased new streaming equipment to provide even better video quality.
When the situation has normalized this summer, due to the desire of many of our students, we restored the attendance classes for those who wanted to come on site. As of this Friday, the Ministry of Health imposes a new lockdown, so all classes will be held entirely online.
Despite the complicated situation in our country and around the world, we are currently planning the next digital marketing and design courses.
We take this opportunity to thank all our partners, lecturers and students for their hard work, despite the challenges we have faced these recent months. And last but not least, to all the donors who supported our cause to provide quality training in the poorest region in Bulgaria - we would not be able to do without you!
