Provide Education for 100 Students in Philippines

Commencement - an end of a journey and the beginning of a new one.  In which case, continuing further educaton or starting a career in the field that a student graduated from.  It has been a tough year. The Corona virus has brought major changes in our lives including education. Losses in auxiliary revenues, huge downturn in enrolment and no student physical interaction.

Foundation University is fortunate enough to have started using technology as a tool for education for a decade already that turning fully online through the F.U.E.L. Program has not been a hindrance in continuing to offer affordable education students of  middle and low income class families including those who are intellectually capable but financially challenged of which GlobalGiving has been a very large and important contributor.

A year through the pandemic, lessons were learned in the struggle of battling this unseen enemy but it is time to recognize and celebrate the proud moment of our students and their parents while thinking of their safety.  The university has organized a virtual ceremony while shooting the graduates in their graduation attire individually.

As we are soon opening a new academic year and a fresh batch of students,  we are most grateful to GlobalGiving donors and hoping  that the organization will continue to support at this time where our youth are financially challenged due to the loss of so many jobs which does not exempt most parents from low income earners to zero income.
