WE DID IT! We are done with the first semester of the F.U.E.L. Program, the first time that Foundation University offered online schooling to students of all ages due to the government mandate of not allowing face to face classes. BUT, it was not a hindrance in providing quality education nor does education stop due to a global pandemic.
Over the summer break, teachers underwent numerous trainings on holding classes online using different media platforms. Modules and lesson plans were prepared to synchronized with the new learning modalities.
Students as well were very much eager to enrol despite the financial challenges they face. Most parents have lost their jobs hindering some students the ability to even produce a down payment. The university came up with lenient guidelines to be able to accommodate the learners.
Foundation University remains true to its mission of providing quality education relevant to the challenging times while achieving its life purpose of educating and developing the youth to become responsible citizens of society.
