Before the start of the academic year, the University Administration through the Office of Student Life, initiated capacity-building activities in order to equip, orient and empower the student leaders for the days ahead.
The students leaders' role in the advancement and betterment of campus life in the University is very essential. This is the main reason behind the leadership and team-building activities held last week in order to prepare the leaders.
Among the best features of this capacity-building activity is not only the leadership training but more of the team-building exercises which determined and improved the leaders' skills in accomplishing work through good teamwork among fellow student leaders.
The efforts made are geared towards empowering student leaders for them to be prepared for the upcoming academic year. They are to help in ensuring that the campus life of students provide learning, empowerment and fun alongside with every activity.
