In line with the University life purpose “To educate and develop individuals to become productive, creative, useful and responsible citizens of society,” a forum by the Land Transportation was held for the students and the whole academic community.
The district chief of the said agency spoke to students on traffic rules and regulations and road safety this afternoon at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall.
A briefer on the Traffic Code of the Philippines (Republic Act 4136) began the talk and was preceded by inputs on licensing, registration, traffic signs and signals, road safety, defensive driving and lastly, fines and penalties on offenses and violations.
Foundation University invited the said agency in order to educate and inform the students and the whole academic community on responsible driving and the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations as essential steps towards becoming a responsible and law-abiding citizen.
