The Pan y Panela Foundation continues with its comprehensive care program for 100 pregnant and lactating adolescent mothers. During this program we highlight the importance of education as a fundamental pillar to advance the processes, for this reason and complementing the delivery of food packages. We hold monthly training meetings on effective access to health services: within these processes we seek to coordinate with public and private entities that guarantee beneficiaries affiliation to the health system, monitoring of growth and development, consumption of food supplements, vaccination , family planning, training processes and life project: within this component we look for programs that promote access to education for the beneficiaries and their families, employment opportunities, income generation for families, healthy environment: breastfeeding training , healthy lifestyles, good sleeping habits, psychosocial support: identifying cases that may be affecting the comprehensive development of the child, monitoring of nutritional status through height and weight carried out every 3 months to thus have a favorable outcome of the efforts that are being carried out.
