The Pan y Panela Foundation is a non-profit entity in charge of carrying out social projects in the vulnerable population of the city of Barranquilla in Colombia. We are currently running a program with attention focused on pregnant mothers and breastfeeding adolescents. This is carried out through educational meetings where the importance of breastfeeding, family planning, good eating habits and additional contributions to their development in work life are discussed, so that they can contribute to society, all accompanied by deliveries of food every 15 days and thus contribute to the healthy eating of children.
At the foundation we also have other programs in which we care for older adults where we seek to keep them active through exercise sessions and children, girls and adolescents, where we carry out recreational and educational recreational activities.
