Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Healthy Homes: Clean Stoves for Women & Families project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned stove distribution has not yet begun.
Across many urban slum communities, families continue to cook with open fires or inefficient stoves inside small living spaces. This exposes women and children to heavy smoke, which can lead to breathing problems, burns, and other health issues.
Children are often the most affected, while families also spend a large portion of their income on fuel. These daily challenges continue to affect health and living conditions.
This project is designed to provide 5,000 households with clean-burning, fuel-efficient stoves. These stoves help reduce smoke, improve safety, and lower fuel costs. Training will also be provided to support safe use and maintenance within the home.
With the right support, families can cook in safer conditions, reduce health risks, and improve their daily living environment.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach households in need of safer cooking solutions.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
