What a great day for Mom, Dad and Little Chi,
Chi is just 6 months old but has been having problems with her breathing and struggles when she attempts to suck . She gets short breath every time she cries. Mom just finished an appointment for Lea and was told that her sweet daughter needs surgery on her heart to allow the blood to pass properly through the heart. Such surgery is necessary to saver her little life and give her the ability to develop normally after her corrective surgery.
Like so many families the news that their child needs life saving heart surgery hangs heavy in their mind.
Questions arise: what will happen if we can’t get the money for the surgery? What will happen to our little one who needs this surgery? How can we know?
Oh my, this is more than any mother and father would expect or want to hear. Their thoughts are scattered. “What can we do?” “ Why us?”, “We can’t afford to have this surgery”. “How can we possibly manage?”
An ancient proverb seems to address such stressful times: “ Now, faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
Chi’s parents are just a few who need hope for the future. You can be the one to provide part of the hope.
Donate today to MEDRIX, serving Vietnam’s children needing lifesaving heart surgery through two national hospitals providing such services. Your donation, large or small, will be focused on the needs of children in Vietnam who need such life saving surgery.
Thank you for your support! May you know that MEDRIX and the heart center at the two hospitals are grateful for your contribution to the lifesaving gift you provide.
