It is an exciting time! Our team of MEDRIX specialists will soon be physically in Vietnam to work with our partners. One of the most exciting and rewarding times is when MEDRIX medical team members can interview the families of the children who need life saving heart surgery. We will soon be sitting with the parents of the little children to learn about their lives and their hopes for a healthy future for their beloved child. This connection time is both inspirational and sometimes “heart wrenching”.
It is donors like you who make it possible for MEDRIX to support children needing lifesaving heart surgery from families with limited resources to provide heart surgery for their child. The Cardiac Centers where MEDRIX works do the hard work of diagnostics, research, and eventual heart surgery. MEDRIX has the joy of supplying the needed resources for families that have been carefully vetted. Donors like you have a fulfillment of knowing a child has received the ‘gift of life’.
MEDRIX has been able to assist in the surgeries of 186 children. Children who are now growing into young school age children, children who are now young adults and are living ‘their dream’ of a healthy lifestyle.
