Hola! Over the past few months we continue to work on getting our solar energy up and running properly. I now have a clear idea and plan on how to fix the final production problems we are encountering, and hopefully the company that installed it will make the necessary adjustments before my next report. I'll share more details once we are good to go.
We hosted a special event for a local foodies group, where I saw lots of familiar faces (I am also part of the group) as we prepped and cooked a number of Chinese dishes together. It was a bit more structured than the average foodie meetup (they don't usually have professional kitchens to work in), and everyone loved the meal.
I was also invited by the Alianza Francesa to participate in a satellite cultural project that they organized in El Retiro, about an hour or so from Medellín. We ran a sold out crepe making class, with lots of new faces, as well as a couple of my community project class participants who moved close to El Retiro, and made it out since they can't make it to our classes in Medellín anymore. It was lots of fun, everyone enjoyed savoury and sweet crepes!
Have a great summer, and talk soon!
Brian
