By NORMA GARDUNO | Project Leader

Given the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the actions of this project had to be modified and be framed in the context of the health emergency derived from the Covid-19 pandemic, so the format of the planned activities was modified to continue granting assistance and rehabilitation measures as part of the psychosocial care for victims of violence, respecting the sanitary measures recommended by the health authorities to prevent new infections of Covid 19. We should mention that the activities were extended to one more town in the central region of the Guerrero, Mexico.

During this period of time, 2 listening circle sessions were held, around 100 people participated in these activities.

In this same period of time, it was decided to carry out therapeutic accompaniment sessions to around 20 families; in addition to attending individually to 13 young people in sessions of therapeutic accompaniment

Through this program it is intended to restore the emotional condition of the victims, psychosocial intervention being of vital importance since they have developed chronic degenerative diseases due to the emotional burden they suffer as a result of the victimizing act.

On the other hand, a workshop on physical and emotional self-care in times of crisis was carried out.

The names of the beneficiaries are omitted for reasons of confidentiality and security
