Actions we carried out:

- Support at Bor's reference hospital, providing technical assistance and reinforcement of pediatrics and maternity services through the support of a physician and a midwife.

- Collaboration in clinical procedures and protocols at hospital level for severe acute malnutrition and its complications in pediatric patients.

- Actions in hospital maternity, childbirth care and prevention of neonatal infections.

- Contribution to the improvement of hospital equipment for the above-mentioned services (beds, clinical furniture, cabinets, trays, cribs, examination tables, scales and other auxiliary furniture, etc.).

- Support for referral and referral of cases from Primary Care Centers to the hospital.

 

Regarding the people and population groups that we serve , we can point out:

- Children under 5 years of age

- Women of reproductive age

- Survivors of sexual violence

- Internally displaced persons

- People wounded or injured in attacks and clashes

Ongoing Humanitarian Action Projects

Provision of integrated health, mental health and gender services to the displaced and host population in Duk district Duration: May 1, 2022 - April 30, 2023. Direct beneficiary population: 27,572 people (14,856 women, 12,716 men). Indirect beneficiary population: 159,200 people. Budget: 1,276,000 euros. Humanitarian Action

 

In Jonglei State, we supported 36 health facilities and 4 mobile medical units and rehabilitated 3 health units to provide primary and secondary health services, including mental health and psychosocial support to a population that includes more than 90,000 people internally displaced due to flooding and inter-communal violence.
