This project will provide Health and Education assistance to 100 vulnerable children ((HIV/AIDS affected/infected/orphan) in GbehlayGeh District of Nimba County through the procurement and distribution of education and nutrition supplies to target beneficiaries, providing medical assistance to 100 persons,purchase of two motorbikes,incur other direct cost,pay office rent,conduct empowerment training for 100 caregivers,conduct HIV AIDS awareness in 4 sch. for students, pay Perdiem and stipend.
Liberian Society faces high level illiteracy, Unemployment, limited economic opportunities and this has become a very serious problem in Liberia. 14 years civil conflict and Ebola crisis amplified the conditions. Unprotected sexual acts applied by intervention and warring factions surfaced High rates of teenage pregnancy associated with teenage motherhood.Most of the children are born orphan as their AIDS -infected parents predeceased them. Malnutrition & Children with disabilities be address.
RUCAHEA provides agricultural,health and educational assistance programs to vulnerable population. Vulnerable Children Caregivers are trained and empowered to continue the program as an exit strategy.
RUCAHEA will provide health and education assistance to 100 vulnerable children to ensure their well being through the provision of basic social services thus reducing illiteracy rate in Liberia.
