Summary

Every child deserves to learn without the burden of preventable illness. In Niger State, Nigeria, thousands of public school students suffer from untreated conditions that keep them out of the classroom. This project brings vital healthcare directly to schools, providing 1,000 children with comprehensive medical screenings, basic treatments, and vaccinations. By restoring their health, we keep children in school, ready to learn and reach their full potential.

Challenge

In rural Niger State, poverty and long distances to clinics prevent families from seeking timely medical care for their children. Undetected illnesses-from poor vision to chronic infections-cause high absenteeism and force vulnerable students to drop out. Teachers see bright young minds struggle daily simply because basic healthcare is out of reach. Without early intervention, preventable health issues permanently jeopardize these children's educational futures.

Solution

We host mobile health camps in public schools to catch and treat health issues early. Your support directly funds physical checkups, essential medications, and life-saving vaccinations for 1,000 students. Children needing specialized care are referred to partner clinics at no cost to their families. Additionally, we train teachers and parents on preventive hygiene, creating a long-term safety net that keeps classrooms healthy, attendance high, and children thriving.

Long-Term Impact

Healthy children stay in school and build brighter futures. By screening 1,000 students annually, this initiative reduces school absenteeism, boosts academic performance, and lifts financial burdens from struggling families. Beyond immediate treatments, we build a community-wide culture of preventive care. Your investment does not just treat a single illness-it protects a child's right to an education, empowering an entire generation to break the cycle of poverty.
