This project supports one year's operating expenses for our new health clinic located in Thulo Syabru. The village of Thulo Syabru is located in the remote region of Rasuwa district, Nepal.
The clinic will provide basic medical services to the residents of Thulo Syabru and surrounding villages. These communities suffer from health problems associated with crippling poverty, such as diarrhea, worm infestation, malnutrition, acute respiratory infections, and tuberculosis.
Operating costs of $15,000/yr ($5/day) provides critical care to 7,000 people ($2 per person) * Management of childhood illnesses * Immunizations * Antenatal/post natal care * Treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, etc. *
With this Clinic and laboratory, we are one crucial step closer to our goal of 3 clinics that triangulate this part of the Rasuwa District in Nepal, making health care available to thousands.
