Medicine for Mae

By Emma Taylor | EDV Media and Marketing Director

Give Mae mom basic medications during floods
Give Mae mom basic medications during floods

We’re delighted to announce that our work here in the Philippines is growing rapidly. And it’s a good thing we’re growing so quickly because the rains are coming! The rainy season officially started on June 1st, and it’s raining every night now. We need to get ready now for the floods that are undoubtedly on their way.

With floods come water-borne illnesses, so we urgently need to stockpile emergency stores of soap, basic medicines, and water purification tablets. These supplies will ensure that when kids like Mae are forced to evacuate alongside their families, we’ll be able to keep them fed and healthy during and after floods.

Tomorrow (June 12), GlobalGiving will add 50% to any donation you make. That means that when you give just $10, GlobalGiving will top your donation up to $15 and we’ll be able to feed a flood survivor Mae for three days.

Thanks so much, and please spread the word about this fantastic opportunity!
