It’s been an exciting several weeks for health education in Haiti!
The eight-week course designed to help kids gain an understanding of how to grow into healthy adults is nearing its completion. We’ve had dozens of volunteers teaching these courses, and we’re excited to move from teaching the kids to working intensively with adults throughout November.
The adult caregivers have been a part of each class, and they’ve learned a lot. Now, for the month of November, we’ll focus on working closely with these adults to ensure that they have the tools they need to implement what they’ve learned.
From learning how to provide basic first aid to information on preventing cholera, the health education we’ve provided during this programme will serve both children and adults well in the years to come – and it wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
Thanks so much for all you’ve given, and our warmest regards from Haiti.
