Healthcare to HIV/AIDS Infected & Affected Orphans

This quarter, we bring update from all the orphanages run/supported by HOPE foundation;   Arias Home of HOPE, Acharapakkam,   Divya orphanage, Trichy & Community Care Centre of HOPE, Tirunelveli.

The school was briefly opened only for 9th to 12^th std.,  and college students from  Jan to March 2021 While 18 children attended these direct classes,  all the other children were attending the online classes relayed through Kalvi Channel.

On the other hand volunteers were engaging the children virtually and teaching them  dance, spoken English, painting, computers, craft work etc.,  Children from AHH & Divya Orphanage are spending time every day gardening.  They are learning to nurture and care for various                 plants and trees in the orphanage premises.   

All of the children are provided with nutritionally balanced meals regularly.  Children who are infected with HIV+ve went for their regular medical check-up in the hospital and all of them are healthy. 

The staffs of Homes have been taking care of all the 70+ children 24*7 very committedly and devotedly.  The children are provided with nutritious food, emotional and physical needs are being met etc.,  They have rescheduled their time depending upon the requirement of the children as all the kids are confined to  the orphanage premises due to COVID-19 pandemic and its lock down.
