HOMES OF HOPE FOR ORPHAN CHILDREN AND WOMEN AFFECTED/ABANDONED DUE TO HIV/AIDS
Homes of HOPE provides a safe haven and oasis of peace and joy for the children and women who been affected, abandoned and isolated due to HIV/AIDS. The home provides them with the physical, emotional and spiritual support.
The Home not only provides them with the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter but rather serves as a place of restoration to their troubled lives giving them a new hope for promising future to continue their lives with a smile .
In order to change the future of a child holistically this gave birth to HOPE foundation’s programs of “ARIAS HOME OF HOPE” in Acharapakkam & “Community Care Centre” in Tirunelveli to accommodate orphan children and women affected/abandoned due to HIV/AIDS.

FREE EYE CAMP CONDUCTED SANKARA NETHRALAYA HOSPITAL FOR THE CHILDREN IN ACHARAPAKKAM
We are safe under your eyes!
On 7th August 2011, a team of staff from Sankara Nethralaya Hospital, visited our orphanage and conducted free eye camp for our orphanage women and children. They have referred some of our children to get free spectacles to have clear vision.
INAUGURATION OF THE NEW SCHOOL – HOPE WORLDWIDE’S NURSERY. & PRIMARY SCHOOL, PERUNKARANAI VILLAGE.
On 24th June 2011, Hope Worldwide Nursery & Primary School started at Perunkaranai village, Acharapakkam. Children were so excited to enter into the new school.
Their Dreams become TRUE… ---- at Tirunelveli
In the academic year 2011-12, Bhavani, Selvananthu, Essakkipandi and Mamutha started a journey – of fulfillment, to realize their dreams of getting educated. They got new bags, note books, lunch boxes and water bottles. One of our counselors met their school teacher to better understand their character and performance. The teachers’ feedback was that our children are disciplined and neat; that they finish their homework on time; and that they are very happy and friendly with the other children.

Instilling a spirit Sports
Mr. Stanislas, Chairman, Decathlon foundation, visited our orphanage along with his office staff on 22nd June 2011. Our orphanage children welcomed the guest and sang few action songs to entertain the guest. Mr. Panneer Selvam, Program Director shared his gratitude and his views that, how the indoor stadium is very useful in multiple ways, also mainly how it is utilized for conducting different indoor games. Few children shared their thankfulness to the guest that, how they are enjoy playing different games in the auditorium. Some children shared their future dreams and ambitions. Mr.Stanislas motivated them to grow in sport activities and his speech instilled the spirit of sports in them. After that, Dr.Ashok kumar Prabath, CPO, Hope foundation, thanked the guest and presented the memento, also our home children gave thank you card to the chief guest to show their gratitude. After the program, Mr. Stanislas and his office staff played basketball along with Home staff and children in the indoor auditorium.
Advocacy meeting at orphanage
On 4th august 2011, we have conducted local advocacy meeting regarding children health and educational development. Most of the participants have given their input to develop the program through local support.
OUR CONTINUING INITIATIVES
Our vision and Mission is to continue to deliver sustainable, high impact community based services and programs to the poor through a team of compassionate staff members who are committed to changing lives and bringing hope to the hopeless, orphans and this isolated and love and care deprived section of the people. Focused on three crucial aspects for 130 Children ---- education, health care and employability opportunities on completion of education.
