This project helps to reduce infants/children mortality rate in Nigeria, especially in the case of road traffic accident that involve children. Bad road behaviour is corrected through this project
Children are the most vulnerable among Nigerian road users .This is so because of bad roads, untrained drivers and lack of vehicle maintainance culture. The drivers do not know the safe ways to transport children and do not consider their right as pedestrians. The awareness campaigns and free trainings on road safety and children will provide road safety skills to both the adults and the children road users. Basically helping to stop the increasing road traffic deaths that involve children
The project will raise awareness on the safe ways to transport children, the right of the children pedestrians and the emergency response that is needed should there be an accident. The project will demand for the child restraint law in Nigeria.
The project will correct the unsafe child transportation system and empower 200,000 drivers with road safety skills that will help them on their jobs as drivers/caregivers. Raise awareness on bad road spots and attracts road rehabilitation
