Thank you for standing with us in doing our best to help sick kids around us.
I just wanted to highlight to you that your donation (no matter how small) is having a direct tremendous impact on the lives of sick kids and their families.
A gift of $25 may seem small, but for a sickle cell child in a displacement camp, it is powerful:
It provides a full month of hydroxyurea, giving a child relief from pain and preventing lifethreatening complications.
It helps ensure mobile clinic access, allowing our medical team to reach children in camps where no health facility exists.
It supports vaccination and essential medicines, protecting children from infections that are especially dangerous for sickle cell patients.
For many families who cannot afford even basic treatment, your $25 is the difference between a child who is constantly sick and a child who can play, learn, and grow.
We are preparing to begin full mobile clinic visits to displacement camps, where our medical team will provide hydroxyurea, essential vaccines, and clinical followup for 500 sickle cell children.
I will return soon with updates from the field so you can see the lives you are touching.
Thank you
Elizabeth
