Healing Japan

With your generous support, since March 2015, the Healing Japan program has reached 837 beneficiaries in various locations across the Tohoku region.

By providing skills and knowledge in psychological coping and resilience, the Healing Japan program has reached to survivors, aid-workers and local professionals affected by the triple disasters of March 2011.

We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts to the beneficiaries, volunteers, specialists, and finally, to you - the donors - for making this program a meaningful one.

Due to financial and Human-Resource reasons, JISP decided to bring the program to a halt. By leveraging our experience in Tohoku, and while maintaing our base of operations in Sendai, Tohoku, JISP continues to work with communities affected by disasters in Kumamoto (Japan), Nepal, and Kenya.

JISP is a Non-For-Profit, Non-Governmental, humanitarian organization.

JISP envisions a world where communities affected by potentially traumatic events such as disasters have access to high-quality and sustainable Psycho Social services.
