Heal One World: Inner-City Preventative Healthcare

Heal One World is supporting wildfire survivors in Los Angeles with Emotional Freedom Technique online classes with Jana and new in person yoga classes at our Los Angles Studio. An amazing new teacher B is offering a weekend Meditation class as well as Siddya is offering an art therapy class that follows. B also offers biofeedback and hypnosis. Our teacher Jnana is expecting her second child in May and is now offering her Family Yoga virtually.

We have great retreats planned for our Geodesic Dome in Tehachapi, including a wilderness retreat, silent meditation, yoga and raw detoxification options on a sliding scale. The dome is off grid and an amazing opportunity to escape the city being on 90 minutes from most of Los Angeles.

In conjunction with our neighborhood council we have some new mats and blankets as well as support for additional classes in person. Our amazing teacher Laura taught a gentle class and added in mindfulness techniques to help with stressful situations. We are also beginning  to offer daily wellness tips through social media as a way to grow awareness. Our all volunteer team made up of Masters of Public Health practicum students are hard at work with these new endeavors as well as keeping our online classes scheduled. This Spring we will be having an Open House event that will be open to the community in Los Angeles as well as virtually t introduce new students to Yoga, Tai Chi and Meditation and more.
