As the year draws to a close, the momentum for our Youth Impact Group is only growing. Their achievements this year have laid a strong foundation for even greater endeavors in the future. With fresh ideas, boundless enthusiasm, and a steadfast commitment to making a difference, these young leaders are just beginning their journey to transform their communities and inspire others to join their mission.

The Youth Program at Hands On Tokyo continues to empower and motivate young volunteers to make a meaningful impact. Our Youth Impact Group made up of high school students from international schools, leads the way by taking on leadership roles in community projects and initiating creative and impactful activities.

Youth Impact Group Projects

The Youth Impact Group exemplifies innovation and responsibility by designing and managing their own projects. Their youth-led initiatives demonstrate their dedication to addressing societal needs while fostering teamwork, leadership, and a strong sense of community.

Key Activities and Contributions

In addition to their original projects, the Youth Impact Group actively contributes to Hands On Tokyo's signature programs, including:

• Fun with English Program: Teaching English to individuals with Down Syndrome, helping improve communication skills while promoting inclusion and understanding.
• Mambo Kodomo Shokudo: Providing English lessons to children in need, offering educational support in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
• Paralympic Sports Activities: Assisting in running sports practices, supporting athletes, and creating an inclusive environment where adaptive sports thrive.
• Elderly Home Visits: Bringing joy and companionship to senior residents through conversations, games, and activities that foster intergenerational connections.
• Beach Cleanup at Enoshima: Cleaning up the beach to protect the environment, conserve marine life, and raise awareness about the importance of ocean preservation.

These initiatives highlight the group’s commitment to addressing diverse community needs and their willingness to take on challenges that have a real and lasting impact.
