Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 10,000 Books Campaign!
With your help, we reached our goal. Books + science kits were distributed at meal pickup sites, at schools from Oakland to Gilroy, and at libraries and homeless shelters.
Our parent survey showed that the kids loved the books: “My girls LOVED their science books. We did two, and they kept begging me for more! Every parent's dream.”
The same survey also showed that kids can do the experiments on their own - a very important skill of self initiation and independence.
This summer we will create at least one more book and will continue with our distribution.
