Margie is returning to Australia permanently on September 9th 2026 after living in Thailand for 29 years. For the past 16 years she has founded and led the Hand to Hand Foundation in Pattaya, which cares for children and their families.
In the month of August people all over the world are helping to walk 7250km which is the distance from Bangkok to Brisbane Australia. People have been walking and logging their kilometres and we are currently at 4122.2km or 56.9% of our total.
If you or a friend walk any distance, please use the QR code to log your distances to help us get to 7250km. If you walk regularly, you can go back to August 1st and calculate how far you have walked in August. We have until August 31st to achieve our goal. Walk anywhere, any distance!
There will be a large community walk on the 29th of August in Pattaya at the beautiful lake Mabprachan.
Alongside the walk we are collecting donations to help feed, clothe and educate the hundreds of children we support in the local slums for Pattaya.
