Stella is one of five children and when her father died at a very young age, her family began to struggle to make ends meet financially. She was brought to the HALO Mengo Home in 2009 at the age of 9. Over the years, Stella proved her potential through her education and was selected to attend HALO's longtime partner Cornerstone's Leadership Academy in 2017.
Now, at the age of 19, Stella is in Senior 5 at the Academy high school. She is very driven in school and is excited to see what her future holds. It is obvious her hard work is paying off because she was selected among many applicants to attend this leadership academy and through this school, she will have no trouble finding her own success when she finishes her education. Thank you for your support and providing the foundation of a family for children without one.
