Meet Stella. She is 18 years old and attends the Cornerstone Leadership Academy, a longtime partnership with HALO. She came up through our HALO Gulu Girls home. She is now in Senior 5, and we are so proud of her.
A brief background on Stella. Her father died of typhoid when she was young and her mother then could not afford to pay for the basic needs for her five children. For a few years, they struggled but then found help in the HALO Gulu Girls home. She was not going to school, but because of these donations, she is now succeeding in school and has a bright future. Her humble spirit makes her stand out among the others. We appreciate your support to invest in our youth. Our goal is for our kids to become contributing members of their communities, breaking the cycle of poverty. Thank you.
