Despite the worsening situation in Haiti, Fondation Tous Ensemble Rehabilitation Center remains steadfast in its mission to serve the most vulnerable populations. As one of the few rehabilitation centers in the region, we have continued our efforts to provide essential services to those in need.
Activities Undertaken during this period include:
International Day of People with Disabilities Celebration: In December, we organized a special event to commemorate the International Day of People with Disabilities, highlighting the importance of inclusion and support for individuals with disabilities in our community.
Mobile Clinics: Our team conducted mobile clinics to reach communities in remote areas, ensuring that individuals with disabilities have access to quality healthcare and rehabilitation services.
Training for Parents of Children with Disabilities: We provided training sessions for parents of children with disabilities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to support their children's development and well-being.
Internship Programs: Fondation Tous Ensemble welcomed Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) students for internship programs, providing them with hands-on experience and mentoring to further their professional growth.
Fabrication of Prosthetics and Orthotics: Our center fabricated orthotics and prosthetics, tailored to the specific needs of our patients, enabling them to regain mobility and independence.
Key Statistics: Total consultations: 2755, New patients: 177, Orthotics made: 75,Prosthetics fabricated: 4, Consultations and treatment for clubfoot: 136.
One of our patients, who traveled all the way from Port au Prince to seek therapy at Fondation Tous Ensemble Rehabilitation Center, expressed their gratitude for the excellent service provided by our dedicated team.
