A 7.2 magnitude earthquake has caused widespread damage in Haiti, where the impact of the deadly 2010 earthquake is still felt. A magnitude 7.2 earthquake recently struck southern Haiti. This earthquake caused buildings and houses to collapse, trapping thousands of people under the rubble, killing nearly 2,000 and injuring nearly 10,000 people.
