Thank you for your continued support of Global Health Charities' mission to reduce infant and maternal mortality. We are currently preparing to ship Clean Birth Kits to Haiti again.
Haiti continues to face a profound maternal and infant health crisis, compounded by escalating violence, displacement, and the disruption of essential healthcare services. The latest internationally comparable estimates indicate that approximately 328 women die from pregnancy-related causes per 100,000 live births, while 39 infants die per 1,000 live births before their first birthday. In 2026, the World Health Organization warned that insecurity and the breakdown of essential services had pushed Haiti’s health system to the brink. For pregnant women and newborns, limited access to functioning health facilities, skilled birth attendants, essential medical supplies, and timely emergency care can turn preventable complications into fatal outcomes. Global Health Charities works to address one critical part of this challenge by providing clean birth kits and childbirth education to help reduce the risk of infection and support safer deliveries in underserved communities.
We are incredibly grateful for your generosity.
