By Mariana Fischer | Hai Africa Founder
Hello everyone.
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to all of you, who have supported HAI and early childhood education all these years. I have exciting news to share with you, at this time of change and growth for HAI.
We have started construction of our new school in Kabiria on May 24th. This new school will be able to accommodate up to 200 children, making a big difference in the local community. I still cannot believe that we will be in our new Hai Africa in just a few months. Our dream is becoming a reality.
We are now in the process of organizing and structuring ourselves for a larger operation in Kabiria. Going from the 40 children we currently care for to 200 children we hope to welcome in the future will be a well-studied process that will be done in stages. We will have to train new teachers, improve our infrastructure, and feed more children. But I am confident that, with the help of the local community and you, our loyal donors for so many years, we will make this transition well and smoothly.
Yes, the next few months will be a lot of work and we will have to consider many things. But we are very happy! I will keep you posted and, please, if you want to know more do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you very much.
