The permitting process was a challenge, however the city of Portland has finally moved our project forward and granted all the necessary permits to get this project underway. The concrete is being poured. That means the foundation footings are new complete and the foundation walls are going up. This is an exciting time for those involved with the dream of bringing a Guest Housing facility to the campus of Providence Portland Medical Center. Our Fundraising continues to move foward with a number of contributions coming in as construction got underway. We are currently at $3 million dollars raised on our way to $4 million plus. Naming opportunities for the patio, the entryway, patient/family rooms and the overall building still remain and are generating increased excitement as crews push forward. The building promises to rise up out of the ground as we move into winter. We will occupy our new facility in August of 2015.
