As we enter the fourth quarter of 2013, we are feeling an urgency to move forward with our fundraising efforts for Guest Housing. Meetings with construction personnel are leaning toward a desired ground breaking date in spring of 2014. With that in mind, we still have a significant amount of dollars to raise in order to fund the project. Many thanks to loyal donors, Jack and Lynn Loacker, who have stepped forward with a challenge match. For every gift...between $1 and $1,000 received before the end of 2013...they will provide matching funds up to a total of $25,000. Thanks to the Loackers and the many others who believe in our need to provide a home away from home for those patients and families who travel farther and farther for Providence's cancer research trials and other services.
