Guatemalan Protest appeal final update
Thanks to your generous support we were able to send the extra funds needed to help our schools in Guatemala during these recent protests. Your kindness meant that we could continue to provide food, shelter and education to our vulnerable children despite protests making it difficult to source food and for our teachers to attend school.
The schools provide over 1500 children from the most impoverished backgrounds with the education they need to build a life free from poverty once they graduate. Alongside academic subjects we teach the children an array of vocational skills to give them the tools they need to succeed. While at school, thanks to our supporters, we provide three meals a day, a bed for them to sleep in and the safety they need to grow.
These protests are no longer disrupting our schools and so we have taken the decision to close off this particular project. We would love to keep you in touch with our work. If you are happy to stay up to date with the children in our care and how you have helped them please do click on the link below.
Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
