Farm to Empower is preparing to begin the second phase of our community farm development in the Kamanjab region of Namibia. With our borehole successfully drilled and a reliable water source identified, we are ready to move forward with the essential infrastructure needed to bring this farm to life.
Our contractor is now available to travel to the remote desert site to lead the next stage of construction, including skills training in welding, fence fabrication, and installation. This phase will provide valuable hands-on employment and training opportunities for local community members while establishing the secure, elephant-resistant fencing needed to protect future crops and infrastructure.
We are seeking funding to mobilize our contractor, purchase construction materials, and employ local workers to complete this critical phase. Every contribution brings us closer to transforming 23 hectares of land into a sustainable community resource that will provide agricultural training, employment opportunities, and fresh food for three local schools serving approximately 800 children.
With our contractor ready and the community eager to begin, this is an important opportunity to turn years of planning into lasting progress. Your support will help us build not only a farm, but the skills and infrastructure needed for long-term food security and economic independence
